Search for CP violation in the η→π +π –e +e – decay
The CP violation in the flavour concerving process would be a signal of new physics.
The effect can arise in the distribution of the angle between pions and electrons production planes. The experiment will be performed using WASA detector at COSY accelerator. Due to the large acceptance of the detector the many body process can be effectively studied.
Polish group is a member of the WASAatCOSY International Collaboration. The candidate for PhD student will be involved both in hardware and the data analysis.
