Cluster structure of 8He
Structure of 8He will be studied by measuring the angular and energy distributions of 8He,6He,4He and tritons emitted from direct interaction of 8He ions with 208Pb target at lab energy of 27 MeV. This experimental data set will be used to extract the spectroscopic factors for different projections of 8He (6He+2n, 7He+n, a+4n, 5H+t) as well as to investigate the effect of channel couplings, in particular the effect of the neutron transfer reactions on the elastic scattering and breakup processes. The experimental part will be done at Ganil (Caen, France) as a part of DINEX collaboration scientific programme. The theoretical analysis of the data will be performed in the frame of continuum-discretized coupled-channels and coupled-reaction-channels methods.
