Research on Coulomb barriers

Experiments are performed at the Warsaw Heavy Ion Laboratory and at the Jyvaskyla (Finland) cyclotrone. Excitation functions for quasi-elastic scattering and for fusion are measured. Data interpretation is based on the Coupled Channels method.
