  • extensive experience in numerical solution of ordinary and partial differential equations, application of minimization techniques, computational physics,
  • development of numerous computational programs for modelling various phenomena in plasma physics (e.g. current sheet dynamics in Plasma-Focus device, sausage instabilities of pinch column, heat transfer in the electrode material and at the plasma/wall surface, melting and resolidification of sample exposed to intense ion-beam pulse, tokamak edge plasma transport within Grad's approach, investigation of physical phenomena in IPD accelerator, fluid model of magnetron sputter source),
  • methodology and computational methods for parameter identification of distributed physico-mathematical models, solution of complex inverse problems in experimental data analysis (e.g. spectral line profiles, determination of heat loads),
  • active participation in several thermonuclear research projects (e.g. design and construction of megajoule Plasma-Focus device, theoretical studies of edge plasma in T-15 tokamak, synthesis and deposition of coatings for surface engineering),
  • active participation in EURATOM nuclear fusion programme (development of Cherenkov detector for measurements of fast electrons within TORE-SUPRA tokamak).
